What is Passion Week?
Passion Week (also known as Holy Week) is the last week in the life of Jesus Christ. This week is an extremely significant time on the "Christian" Calendar. During the week of the passion week, we want to turn our attention to the events leading up to the sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross and ultimately His resurrection from the dead. The celebration of resurrection Sunday is a remembrance of the most important act of God ever performed. Without the resurrection, we are still dead in our trespasses and sins. As a church, we want to take time during this important season to give great attention to the work of our Savior upon the cross and the power He ultimately displayed over death when He rose again from the grave!
