June 30  -  August 25

59 Times throughout the New Testament we find instructions
on how we should act and relate to one another.  Life is
not meant to be lived in isolation, because we need
one another.
Week #1 - Have the Mind of Christ Towards One Another
Philippians 2:1-5 / Romans 15:1-6
To be Christian is to be a follower of Jesus Christ.  It is the desire of every Christian to look like Jesus in both word and action.  For us to reflect Jesus we must first have the mind and heart of Jesus. The mind and heart of Jesus is displayed through how we view and treat one another.

Week #2 - Spur one another to Love and Good Deeds
Hebrews 10:24-25
Living the Christian life is not meant to be done alone.  God has given us the gift of His church and one another to encourage and spur on to good works.  This is why we come together regularly and why regular gatherings should not be neglected.

Week #3 - Admonish One Another

Colossians 3:12-17
Admonishing is to caution and warn.  This is not an easy thing to practice within the body of Christ, especially on a personal level.  Nevertheless we have all been called to do so with the Word of God.  In essence, if we love one another, we will look out for one another, warning one another if need be.

Week #4 - Confess Your Sin to One Another and Pray for One Another

James 5:16
Confession of sin is a “two way street,” meaning we must be willing to confess our sin against God to one another as well as be ready to hear confession and lovingly prayer for one another.  Confession and repentance are the first steps to the healing in the life of a Christian.

Week #5 - Forgive One Another
Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 3:13
Next to love, forgiveness may be the greatest example of Christ likeness.  We have been called to forgive one another just as God in Jesus has forgiven us.  This means that nothing is beyond forgiveness.  Because of Christ in us, we are not slaves to our bitterness and resentment, we are freed from all of that because we have been forgiven by our creator.

Week # 6 - Speak Songs to One Another
Ephesians 5:18-19
There is something about a church filled with spirit filled believers that overwhelms and pours out in joy and thankfulness.  Worship in song aught to be praise that reflects the glory of God.  Our music should remind us of all of the attributes of God; His holiness, His righteousness, His loving kindness, His sovereignty, His mercy and His grace.

Week #7 - Be Hospitable to One Another

1 Peter 4:9
To offer hospitality is to open your home to others, meeting their needs by using whatever you have to bless them and comfort them.
