Director & Teacher
My husband and I have been married since 2004 and we have twin girls who have been homeschooled since 2015. I have been a member of Lake Country since 2001 and became the Children's Director in 2005. The privilege to build a foundation with each child in our ministry has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. I pray this ministry is blessing to your family. I desired for my own girls, a homeschool 'family' with party days, yearbooks, community and faith. I am humbled that the Lord blessed us so abundantly here!

I am a wife, mother and grandma.......so thankful for my family, my church and God’s faithfulness in my life. I have had the privilege of teaching in the public schools for the past 30 years, retiring just a year ago. I look forward to meeting each one of you! May God bless our year as we learn and grow together!

My husband and I have been ministering to the people of Lake Country Baptist Church since 2004. It has been my life’s calling to serve God in this capacity, and as our 5 children grow, to watch them develop a desire to serve as well. Art has always been an important part of my life and ministry, and you can usually find me designing or creating something new!
My hope is that this class will inspire your student to develop a love for creating.

I have been married to my husband, Chris, for 11 years. We have three beautiful girls that fill our lives with much joy. Our household also includes a fluffy bernedoodle named Ramona.
When the sky isn’t dumping buckets, we love to explore the natural beauty that surrounds us. You can usually find us at the beach, Lord Hill, or Skagit valley.
A few hobbies of mine are birding, native plant identification, and reading.
I am grateful to be a part of the community at Lake Country and can’t wait to see what God has in store for the students and families this year!

Hi! My name is Jessie and I’m so excited to be teaching at Lake Country! I have been homeschooling since 2022 and my family has been immensely blessed by the LC community. My husband and I live in Lake Stevens with our son and twin daughters. We enjoy playing games together and camping. Prior to the birth of my twins, I worked as a nanny and also as a preschool teacher. I have always felt led by God to serve in kids ministry and I lead a kids small group at my church. My favorite thing about homeschooling is the fun that I can create while still teaching kids the important skills needed to progress. I love being part of the wonder and excitement in the classroom. I look forward to being part of your child’s homeschool journey!

My husband, Tim, and I have been married since 2013, and together we are very passionate about serving our community! I have been homeschooling my own children since 2020, and found the community of my prayers at Lake Country. I look forward to exploring how we can glorify God with math while sharing a love for learning with your children! My background includes leadership, teaching, and volunteer training in several local ministries that serve women, children, and adults with developmental disabilities. I am so excited to get to know your families this year!

One of my passions is teaching kids how to learn. After 24 years as a public school teacher, I "retired" to homeschool my grandchildren and now to help guide other parents in their homeschool endeavors. Through the written and spoken word, God reveals to us the truth, beauty, and virtue of his creation which then allows us to contend with the current worldview. I am blessed to be on this journey with students here at Lake Country as we learn to understand how the art of language builds enthusiasm, confidence, and excellence for God .

My husband & I have been married for 18 years, and have two amazing kids, a 17-year-old son, and a 10-year-old daughter. I have been attending Lake Country Baptist Church since I was 9-years-old, and I currently serve on the worship team. I started singing in our church when I was 11 years old. This was the beginning of a lifelong heart for worship that God instilled in me from this young age. My desire in teaching vocal music theory and voice lessons is to instill in the students a love for worshipping God using the gift of our voices.
I graduated from Western Washington University in 2003 with a degree in psychology and worked for 15 years in nonprofit mental health as a youth advocate and care coordinator for families in need. My husband and I now own a restaurant in Bellingham, Washington, Naan and Brew, where I assist my husband by doing our payroll and bookkeeping.

I was born and raised in the PNW and have always been in amazement of God’s purposeful, complex and perfect creation. With a love and curiosity for anything Arts, Science, Wildlife or Mission’s related I graduated with an AA degree in Arts & Science. I am a mother of two wonderful children whom I enjoy traveling and exploring new adventures with. After years working in the medical field either related to humans or animals God placed a desire and passion within me to stay home and homeschool my children. I have been homeschooling my children for the past two years and it has been such a blessing and rewarding experience. I am very excited, grateful and humbled to be teaching at Lake Country Homeschool this year! I am looking forward to working with your children to help nurture their curiosity, expand their skills and knowledge of the world around them. My hope is that your child will develop a love and understanding of God’s goodness through each course as we learn some really amazing things.

I love teaching young children and watching their curiosity spark! My husband David and I live in Lake Stevens and have three elementary age kids. Some of my hobbies include sipping coffee, enjoying time with family & friends, as well as adventuring outdoors. I have a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education, I taught Pre-K/Kindergarten before my own children were born in the local public schools. The Lake Country Homeschool Community has been such a blessing to our family since joining in 2021. Now with all three of our kids in classes, I looked forward to stepping back into a teaching role. I hope to teach your student about math, how to learn in a class setting and most of all how to shine God’s love with others. I’m eager to meet you all this coming school year.
