1 Corinthians 12:18 (NKJV)
But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased.
But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased.
There is a saying we use often around Lake Country:
“We are called to be active participants in the Body of Christ, not passive observers.”
When we trust Christ as our Lord and Savior, we are immediately baptized into His Body (Romans 12:12–14), and we are called to use the gifts He has given us in service to one another.
Romans 12 makes it clear that the Body of Christ is made up of many believers, each uniquely gifted by God. These gifts are given intentionally and purposefully, and it should be the desire of every Christian to discover how God has gifted them and to faithfully use those gifts for the good of the Body. The work of making disciples is not something we do alone—it is a shared mission carried out through many different people, roles, and ministries.
At Lake Country, there are numerous opportunities to serve and get involved. We want to help you find the best place to use your gifts as you join in God’s mission to make disciples through the power of the gospel.
Next Steps:
If you are ready to take a step toward serving, we encourage you to connect with a ministry leader, attend a Community Group, or speak with a pastor after a service. You can also fill out a ministry interest form or contact the church office. We would love to help you discover where God is calling you to serve and support you as you move from attending to actively participating in the life and mission of the church.
